All the Sunshine – Projects from Guest Designer Lucia

Hi! We have Lucia with us today. She’s our lovely guest designer this month, all the way from Sunny California.

I love seeing how Lucia uses our kits.

Lucia is creating with the ‘You are my sunshine’ kit which you can buy here.

Thank you to Lucia!!

My baby Walter is turning one in two days and since he is a total toe head, he’s always been called our sunshine boy. When I saw the themed coming to lollipop box club April’s kit, I was so thrilled to be able to use it this month for Walters birthday party. The kits always provide so many items that you don’t have to  only use it on your planner or journal, you can do so many things with it and I can’t wait to share what I did!

First, I wanted to use the kit to make a memory banner for the party, featuring some pictures of our baby boy.

I used the papers as background, the note pad for layering and I even used the top of the welcome letter! You can really use pretty much everything in the box!

Some of the squares have the Pom Pom ribbon they came in The kit and some have different borders that I cooks digging through my supplies. All the squares have die it’s and stickers that came in the box and I added some dots and nuva drops for extra dimension. I did also use the sunshine stencil with Heidi swap shimmer spray. I love the way it came out!

I had this vision in my head of how I wanted to use the rest of the kit. One way was making decoration for the mason jars that are going to be holding the straws and the plastic ware. I did a sun using a yellow circle I found in my supplies and I used the Sunshine rays paper to make the sun rays and the tissue paper that came in the kit as well! Using the cloudy paper I drew and fussy cut some clouds and I glued them to cake pop  sticks but you can use wooden sticks or the straws.

For the first bags I’m going to staple a note pad sheet to write a thank you note! The notepad has the perfect design for the party favors!

I hope you found this inspiring and you get your creative juices flowing! Lollipop box club never fails to push me to create and try different things! I hope it does to you too!
