Hey Lollipoppers, today I am sharing this 12×12 layout with you using the ‘Say Cheese’ February kit. For me the camera’s within the kit really spoke to me, it’s where our documenting begins with a photo & I thought the large die cut title (this can be found at Peartree Cutfiles) is perfect for an memory keeping project.

I began my page with some mixed media on the background to echo the colours of the patterned paper, I used white gesso & distress oxide sprays. I then backed my cut file title with the camera patterned paper & adhered it to my page using foam tape (if you do not access to die cuts you can always sketch the letters onto the pattern paper & cut them out, the outcome is very similar).

Next I mounted my photo’s onto the pink patterned paper; some of the camera ephemera had pink sections so I wanted to add pink to my colour palette. I then positioned my photo’s & began creating embellishment clusters around them using the ephemera & stickers from the kit.

I typed my journalling & cut into strips, the white got lost in the background so like my photo’s I mounted them onto pink patterned paper. To finish I added a sprinkling of sequins & Nuvo Drops in coordinating colours. Why don’t you give the large title a go, even use the exact same words, it works for every picture!

Much Love

Em
