FUN DIYS’s with Beccy

.

Hello Lollipop Friends!
I hope you’re all having a lovely summer.
I’m on the blog today to share with you what I have created using the August Finding Paradise kit.
Can I just say how cute is this month’s kit? I’m loving all the colours and the flamingos.
I went into a shop called the works on the weekend and I notice they were selling wooden crates. I
thought to myself how perfect they would be to upcycle and decorate.

.
First, I painted the crate pink using some acrylic paint. Then I used the super cute sunshine paper
included in the kit to matt the crate. I even stitched the beautiful blue glitter tulle included in the kit
on the front to add that extra sparkle.

Then it was the fun part, decorating. First, I die cut out some flip flops using a die from my stash using the palm leaf paper from the kit. I added the blue flower die cuts and pink gemstones in the middle.

.

From the pattern strip paper, I fussy cut out the sunglasses and the word summer which I propped up on some foam tape. Then I added the flamingo, pink flower, and word stickers from Mrs Brimbles. To add that finishing touch I added some gem stickers.

You can use the wooden crate to store anything you like. You could store photos, memorabilia, journaling or to add gifts etc. I’ve decided to store memory dex cards in the crate. Here is one I created using this month’s kit. I used the beautiful lemon paper included in the kit, then I fussy cute out the palm leaf from the journal cards. I used an umbrella and bathers die from my stash, I even fussy cut out the flamingo from the cut apart post card. Then to finish it off I added the Mrs Brimbles word stickers, some paper flowers, and some
gem stickers.

.

I really hope you like what I created with this month’s kit, until next time.
