Hi,

I’m back with my first blog post in a while – after a busy few months and not having much spare time I got out of the habit of regular journalling.  When I did get some free time again I found it really hard to get back to it!  The thought of getting all of my bits out and then having to put them all back felt really unappealing but then this months kit arrived and it changed everything!

I filled a little stroage tub with my journal, scissors, stapler, glue stick, matching washi and some pens and headed downstairs with my kit.  The photo I printed from my phone in the wrong size but I didn’t want to get too hung up on it and waste more time printing a new one so I just went with it.

On one of our trips to Ikea I looked though their bargain corner and found a small shelf from a wardrobe.  It’s around 2ft x 2ft and I love it for crafting on when I’m downstairs.  I can lay bits out on it but then its easy to lift and put somewhere else if I need to leave things out to dry.

I didn’t think too much about the page and used a layout similar to one I’d usedon a page before so that it would come together easily.  The cut apart sheet included in the kit made it really easy to fill the pages just leaving space for my journalling.  I’ve started using a light grey pen for my journalling so that it blends into the page a bit more. Anything to hide me scrawly writing!

Is it the best page I’ve ever made – No.  But is it a memory I’ll be able to look back on – For Sure, and to me that’s all that matters!

I’d love to hear if you have any tips to getting back into the swing of creating daily!
